So in the past week I graduated high school, took a three hour Calculus placement test, started learning Mandarin Chinese, finished Enchantments, and read almost 100 pages of Bewitchments in 4 or so days (for me, that's quite impressive). Yep. Still need a job, though.

By the way, if you haven't noticed, I'm kind of addicted to Wraeththu.


Things I've learned from Wraeththu:

-Don't trust people with weird hair (alive, resembling fire, whatever).
-People raised on farms don't comprehend nightclubs.
-A lot can happen in five years. Like people you used to know randomly popping up on a different continent.
-Humans are strange furry critters with whiskery faces.
-When you have unstable dinner guests, use the dull forks.
-The Ten of Swords also means "avoid summerhouses at all costs."
-Ivy is sexual.
-Being named Zack really, really sucks. Really.
-Committing murder technically counts as witnessing it.
-Bewitchments deserves to be read in high schools alongside The Catcher in the Rye and A Member of the Wedding and other famous coming-of-age novels, if people could get over the whole hermaphroditic-parahumans-who-kind-of-lay-eggs thing.
-Gelaming and Communism are basically the same thing.
-Wraxlian's law: If you keep raping and pillaging, soon there won't be anything left to rape and pillage. (I actually don't understand this, or even know who Wraxlian is. It's just something ~Wolf-of-Twilight keeps saying.)
-Lianvis eats puppies, but only when nobody's looking.
-Books are masochistic.
-Songs you normally wouldn't listen to become addictive when they're about something awesome. (See: We Dwell in Forever by One Way Ticket)
-You shouldn't write fanfiction until you finish reading things.
-You shouldn't search dA for easily-spoilable things you haven't finished reading
-You shouldn't talk to friends about easily-spoilable things in which they're three books ahead of you.
